We are sorry to hear you may need to return your items. Our number one priority is to make sure our Sand and Charcoal friends are well taken care of and happy! We have found the following to be the best way to handle returns and exchanges.
Sand and Charcoal Return policy:
*A refund will be issued for all returns and a restocking fee will apply.*
All items must be returned within 20 days of package delivery. Items that have been washed, worn or otherwise altered are not eligible for return. Items with makeup, marks, odors or any other damage are not eligible for return. Please include your name, order number and reason for return to the back of the Thank You card you received with your order.
Restocking fees will not be issued for exchanges.
The restocking fees will be issued as follows:
Items returned 1-10 days from delivery date, will be charged a 10% restocking fee. 10-20 days from delivery date, 20% restocking fee. Items are not eligible for return after 20 days.
All sale items
For sanitary reasons, jewelry is considered final sale and may not be returned.
Please allow 5-7 days for your order to be processed and in-store credit issued. Your in-store credit will automatically be applied to the account you have created with sandandcharcoal.com
To exchange, please return your item to Sand and Charcoal within 20 days of delivery. Once we receive your item, in-store credit will be issued. If there is an item you’d like to purchase and are worried will go out of stock, we recommend you buy the desired item. Then when you receive your in-store credit, you can use it for something else equally amazing!
Damaged or Defective items
An email must be sent with a picture of the damage/defect clearly marked, to email@example.com Upon review, Sand and Charcoal will send a return label via email. Damaged/defective items must be returned within 10 days of the purchase date. A replacement or in-store credit will be issued.

We ship via USPS
Shipping generally takes 3-4 business days.
Shipping in the US is always FREE.
Sand and Charcoal is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items while in transit.
Sand and Charcoal is not responsible for shipping costs on returned items. Nor are we responsible for returned items lost in transit without proof of delivery.
Can I cancel my order?
We will do all we can to cancel your order, however, if it has already been processed it cannot be cancelled. Please reach out to email@example.com as soon as possible after the order has been placed to increase your chances of cancellation.
What items are non-refundable?
-Items purchased from our final sale section.
-Washed, worn, stains, tags removed, or otherwise altered items.
-Any item purchased during our seasonal sale, at a discount of 30%, or otherwise noted as a stipulation of the sale or promotion.
